About the Role

Works with the Financial Controller to help a company manage and utilize its financial assets. Their duties include setting up a system to monitor the company’s assets, ensuring all accounting is done within legal compliance and helping make large-scale financial decisions based on past records.

What You'll Do

• Oversee general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Support payroll, accounting, and benefits reconciliation.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Collaborate with the team to improve processes and ensure GAAP compliance.

What We're Looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience reviewing financial statements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ERP systems like Paychex
• Prior accounting experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and or reporting tools
• Experience in transportation, logistics, construction, or service-based industries strongly preferred
